4.2 Safety
The safety and availability of the machine depends on following these instructions.
4.2.1
Basic safety instructions
The machine may only be put into operation if it has been set up and installed in accordance
with these regulations. The entire machine must be checked for proper operation after installa-
tion.
According to DIN EN 16486: 2014, the manufacturer must recommend suitable intervals be-
tween the tests and / or inspections according to the operating conditions, which may not ex-
ceed 12 months.
The following instructions for the guarantee of the work safety and the safety are to be
considered:
The accident prevention regulations (UVV) - in particular:
DGUV- V1 General regulations
DGUV- V3/ V4 Electrical installations and equipment
DGUV- V9 Safety marking at the workplace
The side hinged door is under pressure. Before opening it is essential to position the safety
catch. When opening the door and when emptying the portable compactor, make sure that
there are no persons and objects in the swivelling area of the discharge door, as there is still
pressure on the door despite the catch hook.
The installation, transport and emptying of the machine are subject to special regulations
which must be applied individually by the operator. Consultation between manufacturer and
user should take place to comply with these requirements.
When working on the machine, all national regulations and the safety regulations applicable
at the place of work must be observed.
The machine is equipped with safety panels. These protective devices must not be rendered
inoperative or used improperly.
