9.1 Electrical connection
The portable compactor may only be connected to a power supply which is suitable for the
machine (see nameplate). If the system is equipped with a 16 A Cekon plug, the maximum
permissible fuse rating 16 A must not be exceeded (3-pole K overload device) and must be
protected with a 30 mA residual current circuit breaker. For a 32 A Cekon plug-in device, the
mains socket must be protected by max. 25 A. The machine is designed for connection to a
clockwise rotating field. Check the direction of rotation of the drive prior to each use. This is
done by turning on and checking the functions of the compactor.
Direction of rotation change without phase inverter
If the direction of rotation is not correct, the machine must be disconnected from the mains
immediately. In the plug of the supply line, two of
the three phases must be swapped.
ATTENTION!
Pay attention to the correct rotating field during the first commissioning, location or
cable change. By default, the machine is delivered with a clockwise rotating field.
If the rotating field in the supply line does not meet this requirement (the ram does
not move even though the hydraulic motor is running), it must be reconnected by an
authorized electrician. Failure to comply with the prescribed direction of rotation of
the electric motor may result in damage to the unit.
Direction of rotation change with phase inverter (optional)
If the function is not correct, the phase switch must be
turned in the plug.
Use a slot screwdriver and turn two phases in the Cekon
plug.
