4.7 Personal protective equipment
It is referred to the wearing of suitable personal protective equipment when operating the ma-
chine! Observe the operating instructions of the operator.
4.8 Fire protection
The hydraulic motor is equipped with a motor protection switch or a bimetal relay against
overload. This safety-relevant component must not be changed or altered. If the motor circuit
breaker or bimetal relay triggers, the cause of the fault must be checked and, if necessary,
eliminated before it can be switched on again.
The hydraulic system is protected from unacceptably high temperatures by a temperature
switch in the hydraulic oil. A restart can only be done after the hydraulic oil has cooled down.
It is essential to observe the local requirements for fire protection. If you have any questions,
contact a qualified representative in your area (for example, your local fire department).
Notes for emergencies:
In emergency situations, the EMERGENCY STOP button must always be pressed and the
coupling of the supply line removed from the connector of the portable compactor.
Burning oil must be extinguished with a CO
2
extinguisher or powder extinguisher.
Fires in the electric control system are to be combatted with a CO
2
extinguisher.
NOTE!
When working on the machine, wear suitable personal protective equip-
ment.
WARNING!
Depending on the material filled in, the machine may eject fragments from the com-
paction chamber.
Do not stay in the danger zone of the machine!
Wear suitable and prescribed protective clothing!
