13.3 Emptying containers
The container can be emptied directly standing on the vehicle. Note that depending on the dis-
charge place, special regulations may be valid for emptying portable compactors.
Before being transported away for emptying, the system is switched off by pressing the
EMERGENCY STOP button. Turn off the main switch and padlock it. Then remove the cable
from the Cekon plug by pulling it out. If existing, disconnect the remote controls and put them
aside properly.
After the portable compactor has been emptied, make sure that the top hinged door or the side
hinged door is firmly closed and secured again. The rubber seal (optional) must be cleaned
before closing.
13.3.1 Emptying process (side hinged door)
DANGER!
Prior to tipping or emptying, make sure that the vehicle is out of reach of ca-
bles, power lines or high voltage cables!
Note the required height before emptying.
DANGER!
The side hinged door has a high weight and can cause life-threatening injuries
in uncontrolled movement.
Only open the side hinged door when the machine is horizontal!
Secure the side hinged door when it is open!
Make sure that no persons are in the danger zone of the side hinged
door!
DANGER!
When opening the side hinged door, material may fall out or fall down
on people and cover them!
NOTE!
Wear your personal protective equipment when emptying the con-
tainer!
