Machine-specific safety regulations
The following safety instructions must be observed and used in addition to the instruc-
tions contained in these operating instructions.
• Pay attention to the operating instructions in detail.
• Make sure that there is no person in the compaction chamber.
• The machine may only be operated by one person at a time.
• Climbing onto the machine is prohibited!
• It is prohibited to enter the compactor or the compaction chamber!
• At an inclination of > 5 °, the compactor may only be operated with brake shoes (if the
compactor is equipped with four rollers)!
• Do not compact material that could lead to dangerous situations or damage to the machine
(e.g. objects that could be thrown out of the compactor, explosive substances, metals, de-
molition waste, ashes)!
• Depending on the customer's order and the machine design, the compactor is only ap-
proved for the compaction of household waste, industrial waste, fruit crates, cardboard
boxes, bulky waste or wet waste.
• The vertical distance between the standing level and the filling edge must not be less than
1100 mm.
• When working on ramps or when using podiums, these must be fitted with a railing ac-
cording to the current regulations!
• Unattended operation in public places is not permitted.
• The manipulation or removal of safety devices, safety covers or control devices is not per-
mitted!
• Maintenance or repair work may only be carried out by staff specially trained for this task!
• Prior to cleaning and maintenance work, the system must be disconnected from the main
power supply and secured against being switched on again by closing the main switch with
a personal padlock!
• After maintenance and repair work, disassembled covers must be properly fastened and
missing screws replaced.
• Only use suitable and tested connecting cables (H07 RN-F according to VDE 0100) for the
intended use!
• Operation without a three-pole circuit breaker is not permitted!
• The electrical machine can only be operated outdoors with an FI fuse with a maximum
residual current of 30mA.
• Under no circumstances should the setting of the pressure switches be changed. In case of
replacement, only use original spare parts with an operating pressure of min. 200 bar.
• If the material to be compacted is jamming or bridging, do not poke with an object.
