Service
The controls shown below are intended to operate the portable compactor. Depending on the
equipment, further variations are possible.
Standard controls on the portable compactor
DANGER!
•
Substances that are subject to special disposal regulations under
the Waste Disposal Act must not be filled into the compactor.
•
Do not pour pasty, liquid or explosive substances, and do not fill
closed containers with flammable residues, materials containing
propellants or chemical substances.
DANGER!
When material to be compacted is jamming or bridging, do not poke with an object.
DANGER!
In an emergency, press the emergency stop button immediately! The portable com-
pactor will be put out of action immediately. Unlock the EMERGENCY STOP button
by pulling it out. By pressing the ON button, the backward movement of the ram is
initiated. When the ram reaches the rear position, the EMERGENCY STOP button
must be pressed again. The compaction chamber is then open.
