(3) Open the lock latch and close the inspec-
tion hatch.
(5) Lock all locking bolts with a triangular key.
If no further maintenance is required, restore the operational readiness of the machine.
The ram guidings are made of maintenance-free and low-wear polyamide. Nevertheless, they
should be checked twice a year or after 500 hours and possibly readjusted. This is done by ad-
justing screws with lock nuts (if existing). This is not required for SW compactors.
DANGER!
Starting the machine without visual inspection of the danger zone may result
in dangerous accidents.
• Before each start of the compactor, check whether there is a risk!
WARNING!
Only trained and qualified staff is allowed to carry out cleaning and maintenance
work on the machine.
Persons assigned to work on the system must have read and understood the operating
instructions and, in particular, the safety instructions, and be in the proper mental and
physical condition.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in danger to life and limb and / or dam-
age to the machine or other property.
