customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field replaceable units (FRU).

1. Run the standard memory test to validate all
memory.
2. Make sure that the DSA code is at the latest
level. For the latest level of DSA code, go to
http://www.ibm.com/support/

3. Turn off the system and disconnect it from power.
4. Reseat the DIMMs.
5. Reconnect the system to power and turn on the
system.
6. Run the test again.
7. Run the standard memory test to validate all
memory.
8. If the failure remains, go to the IBM Web site for
more troubleshooting information at

or broken connections or damage to the cable.
Replace the cable if it is damaged.

7. Make sure that the system firmware is at the
latest level. The installed firmware level is
shown in the DSA event log in the
