Disassembly gear motor
➔ "Removing the lifting air bag"

➔ "Removing the front rotary unit"
➔ "Removing the disc grinding ring"

Continuity test of all electrical
connections.
Visual inspection for wear of the brush
ring, the brush block and the disc
grinding ring.
Mechanical check of all moving parts.
Replace all worn parts

Clean all parts of the engine properly,
degrease them and remove any
corrosion. Check the moving parts for
free running and wear, re-grease and
assemble.

o Incipient corrosion
Visual assessment of the condition of
the engine with regard to dirt and
corrosion.
In the event of moisture penetration,
additionally replace the X-ring and the
rod seal in the
front rotary actuator.
