24.3 Check the compressed air system for leaks
1. Connect the nitrogen test adapter
(without pressure gauge)
2. Screw on adapter from test case to
rear distributor 2.
3. Remove the air motor.
4. Mount the air motor dummy in the air
motor housing.
5. Connect each individual PU hose in turn
to the compressed air control unit with
pressure gauge.
1. Pressurise the milling air to 6 bar and
check whether compressed air escapes.
Caution
When checking the individual assemblies, always check whether compressed air is flowing into other
assemblies. Furthermore, check the hose of the nitrogen test adapter for bubble leakage each time. If
bubbles are visible, compressed air flows into the nitrogen system.
