23. Intermediate inspection/leak detection
after the work steps
Before the parts are pressed together again after dismantling a bladder or the axial muscle, an intermediate
test must be carried out in any case.
This intermediate examination includes the following steps:
Checking the nitrogen tightness
Checking the compressed air tightness
Testing the electrical components
23.1 Change lifting bladder
After dismantling the lifting bladder and
completing the necessary repairs,
prepare the hub for the interim test.
1. Push the test bladder with a length of
115mm over the lifting linkage.
2. Remove the hinge bolt clamps (005 30
010) from the lifting bladder.
3. Mounting the camera.
If no camera is available or the nitrogen test
cannot be carried out in any other way due to
further disassembly of the milling drive,
4. mount the camera dummy (005 45 002).
Caution
The hinge pin clamps must be positioned where
the press sleeves will be pressed later.
Tighten them only after attaching the camera
dummy
