20. Soldering the 8-pole cable connector
Materials required with the article numbers
1. 10-wire cable 10x0.14 mm
PURtronic-D Highflex (045 01 073)
2. Soldering aid for plug (005 45 011)
3. Cable plug 8-pole (045 02 014)
4. O-ring for plug (belongs to plug)
1. Strip approx. 15 mm of cable insulation
2. Cut off wires that are not required
according to the wiring diagram.
3. Strip approx. 3 mm of insulation from the
strands, twist and tin.
1. Clamp the soldering aid in a vice.
2. Insert the cable plug into the soldering
aid.
Or use other appropriate tools.
1. Shorten the tinned ends of the strands to
approx. 2mm and solder them to the
cable connector according to the current
wiring diagram.
2. Clean the soldered cable connector with
spirit to remove the excess flux.

Tip
A "standing" soldering has proven to be
favourable.
