6. Removing the front radial air bag
1. Loosen both the contour pieces
045 01 111 Contour piece 2.1 (open)
045 02 003 Contour piece (closed)
To do this, remove 2 set screws M3x5.1. each
2. Carefully cut open the crimp ferrules using
DREMEL.
- Crimp ferrules, front (on the rotary unit)

Caution
If the radial air bag can be reused, the rubber may
not be damaged
Caution
In the cross-section, the crimp ferrule ring in the
rotary unit groove must be cut.
In doing so, the rotary unit may not be damaged.
