To obtain more information about the incoming or outgoing calls press the
Ok
key on a log. Information will be presented
as date, duration, number, depending on the list that the user is consulting and the number’ s registration in the phone
book.
6.4. Message list query
To check the messages available in the terminal, press the
Menu
key and then select the
Messages
option. Within the
Messages
menu, select the
Message Mail
option, which will display a temporary screen indicating the number of stored
records followed by the message with the most recent date. To select the other messages, simply navigate with the or
keys.
6.5. Adding the queried number to the terminal’s phone book
After consulting the list of outgoing, incoming, answered and missed calls, the selected number can be added to the
terminal’s phone book by pressing the selection key . In this situation, the terminal goes directly to the option of
adding a record to the terminal’s phone book.
6.6. Calls originated from the call list
To return to a number stored in the call list, simply select the number you wish to call and press the
Dial
option.
Note:
at startup, the terminal receives from the PABX the list of outgoing routes allowed for the extension. Using this list,
it congures a default route (general route) to be used when dialing from the call list. If the user wants a different route, he
must access the Calls item in the Programming Menu. The selected route will be used for all calls made through the call list.
6.7. Selecting and editing the log of an incoming or outgoing call
Call logs, answered, missed, or originated, may need to be edited to allow for a callback, for example by entering the
provider’s code.
After entering the corresponding menu (answered, not answered or originated call) and with the name or number selected
on the screen, the user has the option to edit the registered number.
If you wish to edit the number, press the
Edit
selection key. At this point, the number remains on the display, allowing the
user to edit, include service provider code, or any other code. To nish editing press the Ok selection key.
To delete the character where the cursor is, select the Delete selection key. The , ,orkeys allow you to position
the cursor in the desired elds.
In the case of dialing without needing to edit the selected number, press the
Dial
selection key. The terminal will
automatically make the call.
When adding the provider code the user can manually type it.
7. Extension Programming
The TI 5000 provides a high-level interface for PABX extension programming.
7.1. Extension Password
Allows you to include or change the extension’s password.
How to access:
1. Press the
Menu
key. The terminal will enter the main menu;
2. Search for
Features
and press the
Ok
key;
3. Search for
Password
using the and , keys and press the
Ok
key;
4. Search for
Change/Include
password using the and , keys, and press the
Ok
key.
To register the password for the rst time
Enter the desired password and press the
Ok
key
.
To change the already registered password
Type the current password (that you want to change) in the rst line and the new password in the second line and press
the
Ok
key.
