It is also possible to program the Capture key by pressing it for 3 seconds. Once the key has been congured, simply press
the key once for the selected option to be executed.
10.13. View version
It allows you to see the version of the Smart Terminal and the version of the PABX.
1. Press the Menu selection key. The terminal will enter the main menu;
2. Search for Versions and press the Ok key;
3. Choose the desired option: Terminal Version, PABX Version, Module Version or Boards Version and press Ok to check
the version.
10.14. Firmware update
If there is a need to update the rmware of the Smart Terminal 5000 the user must download the Impacta Programmer,
with version equal to or greater than 1.10.00 or Impacta Web Programmer. It is also necessary that the PABX has version
equal to or greater than 3.20.00, besides the rmware le to be installed. This update can be done by following the
programmer’s instructions.
You will be able to see the progress of the upgrade on the terminal screen. At this time, the terminal will remain unavailable
and when it returns, the phone book and programmable keys information will be kept. Call lists, reminders, and messages
will be lost, and the prole settings will return to the factory defaults.
If any eventuality occurs during the rmware upgrade process that makes it impossible to upgrade via PABX, the terminal
must be upgraded via serial communication through a physically connected PC. In this case, all information will be lost and
the terminal will return to the factory default values.
