» (One beep every 3 seconds): occurs when the handset is left off-hook. If the handset is not on-hook, after 2
minutes the beeps will sound.
Factory default:
mute.
» (Three beeps): these happen when there is an alarm present. The alarm occurs when the exchange in
which the terminal is installed changes from day to night state.
Factory default:
low volume.
» (Four beeps followed by a pause that can be repeated up to 20 times): This happens when
there is a reminder programmed for this time.
Factory default:
loud volume.
When the terminal is programming, in the phone book or viewing the call list, the only possible beeps are: key pressed beep
and reminder beep. If the terminal is monitoring the environment, no beeps will be generated. Only the terminal installed
at an operator extension will receive alarm beeps.

Procedure

4. Look for one of the following audible alert options to congure:

6. Press the key and to choose the desired level: high, low and mute;
7. Press the Ok key to conrm the setting or the key if you do not want to conrm the setting.

Allows you to congure the terminal to operate with the headset with or without a boom. Differentiated by the sensitivity of the
microphone.
