» (One beep every 3 seconds): occurs when the handset is left off-hook. If the handset is not on-hook, after 2
minutes the beeps will sound.
Factory default:
mute.
» (Three beeps): these happen when there is an alarm present. The alarm occurs when the exchange in
which the terminal is installed changes from day to night state.
Factory default:
low volume.
» (Four beeps followed by a pause that can be repeated up to 20 times): This happens when
there is a reminder programmed for this time.
Factory default:
loud volume.
When the terminal is programming, in the phone book or viewing the call list, the only possible beeps are: key pressed beep
and reminder beep. If the terminal is monitoring the environment, no beeps will be generated. Only the terminal installed
at an operator extension will receive alarm beeps.
10.5. Beep volume conguration
Procedure
1. Press the
Menu
key. The terminal will enter the main menu;
2. Search for
Prole
using the keys and . Press the
Ok
key;
3. Search for
Audible Alert
and press the
Ok
key;
4. Look for one of the following audible alert options to congure:
» Pressed key.
» Off-hook handset.
» Reminder notication.
» Alarm Present.
» Incoming message notication.
5. Press the
Ok
key;
6. Press the key and to choose the desired level: high, low and mute;
7. Press the Ok key to conrm the setting or the key if you do not want to conrm the setting.
10.6. Headset conguration
Allows you to congure the terminal to operate with the headset with or without a boom. Differentiated by the sensitivity of the
microphone.
1. Press the
Menu
key. The terminal will enter the main menu;
2. Search for
Prole
using the keys and . Press the
Ok
key;
3. Search for
Headset conguration
and press the
Ok
key;
4. Select one of the options:
without boom
or
with boom
and press the Ok key to congure.
Factory default: with boom
.
10.7. Force headset detection
This setting must be enabled if the headset is connected to the terminal and is not automatically recognized.
1. Press the
Menu
key. The terminal will enter the main menu;
2. Search for
Prole
using the keys and . Press the
Ok
key;
3. Search for
Force headset det.
and press the
Ok
key;
4. Select the Enable/Disable option and press the
Ok
key.
10.8. Programmable keys conguration
You can congure the programmable keys by associating each one with a specic function.
Procedure
1. Press the
Menu
key. The terminal will enter the main menu;
2. Search for
Programmable Keys
and press the
Ok
key;
3. Select between
Congure Key
or
Congure Range
;
4. The Choose Programmable Key or Choose Initial Programmable Key will be displayed.;
