Programmable key conguration:
1. To congure, press the
Menu
selection key and, using the keys or , select the
Features
option;
2. Using the keys , move the cursor to
Motion Sensor
and press
Ok;
3. After entering the indicated menu, access the
“Programmable key Conf.
option and press the
Ok
key;
4. After the message “Choose the programmable key” appears on the display, press the desired programmable key. The
message “Programming successfully done” will appear on the display.
5. Press the shortcut key where you programmed the motion sensor to activate it.

Timing
It is possible to congure the entry and exit times of the motion sensor’s detection zone. These times are used to counteract
the triggering after Activation or during Deactivation, without an unwanted triggering occurring.
Setting the trigger times:
1. In
Motion Sensor
, move the cursor with the keys or to
Timings
option and press
Ok
;
2. Congure the time to
Deactivate After
* and
Activate After
* (between 0 and 99 seconds) using the numeric keypad;
3. Once congured, press
Ok.
Note: » Activate after: time to leave the detection zone without triggering the alarm.
»
Deactivate after: time to enter the detection zone without triggering the alarm.
Alarm Activation
There are four alarm trigger options,
Send SMS message, External action, Dial number, Ring terminal.
It is possible to
program up to 3 trigger options simultaneously, but the Dial number and Ring terminal options cannot be congured
together. When more than one option is enabled, the activation of the alarms will occur sequentially in 5 second
intervals.
Triggers Conguration
1. In
Motion Sensor
, move the cursor with the keys or to the
Alarm Trigger
option and press
Ok

2. Congure the desired triggers using the ,,, keys and the alphanumeric keypad.
To cancel a setting that has already been programmed, select the option present in the
Alarm Trigger
menu and press the
Delete
selection key.
Note: SMS messaging is only possible when the terminal is connected to Impacta exchanges that have GSM cards.
Access Password
The password conguration present in the
Motion Sensor
menu serves to protect the deactivation of the sensor. To activate
the motion sensor password, the extension’s password must already be programmed.
Conguration to enable the motion sensor password:
1. In
Motion Sensor,
move the cursor with the or keys to the
Extension Password
option and press
Ok
;
2. Enable or disable the password using the keysor;
3. Once congured, press
Ok.
Using the motion sensor
After conguring the programmable key, the activation times, and the types of triggers, you can use the motion sensor. To
activate it press the programmable key congured for this function. At this moment the message
Motion Sensor Activated
will be displayed.
When the motion sensor is activated the LED on the programmable key ashes, indicating that the function is active.
After the sensor is activated it is possible to leave the detection zone for the time congured in the option
Activate
after.
When motion is detected, the LED on the programmable key changes state to ON and starts executing the pre-
programmed triggers.
To deactivate the triggering, simply press the programmable key again to unlock the function.
Note: with the function active the TI 5000 keyboard is locked. To use the terminal normally again, press again the key
programmed for the function.
