IP30 Stereo ID earphone – place a blue f langed ear tip onto the end of the ear tip adaptor and insert into
the holes of the pass-checker.
IP30 stereo ID EarCups – insert the black EarCup adapters directly into the holes of the pass-checker.
(The Pass-Checker is not required for patient testing.)
3.11 Transducers and calibration
The transducers used with Sera
TM
use a special omnetics plug that allows the calibration data to be stored
within the cable/plug (also known as an ID transducer). Transducers (probes, insert phones etc.) can be
swapped between devices without requiring recalibration to a specif ic Sera
TM
device. Sera
TM
will
automatically detect the transducer type and read the calibration data f rom the ID transducer.
