SECTION 4—FRONT RIGGINGS
 WARNING
After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.
Installing/Removing Swingaway Footrest
NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE4.1.
Installing
1. Turnthefootresttotheside(openfootplateisperpendiculartothewheelchair).
2. Insertthefrontriggingassemblymountingpinintothemountingtubeofthe
wheelchairframe.
3. Rotatethefootresttowardstheinsideofthewheelchairuntilitlocksintoplace.
NOTE:Thefootplatewillbeontheinsideofthewheelchairwhenlockedinplace.
4. RepeatSTEPS1‐3fortheotherfootrestassembly.
5. Ifnecessary,adjustthefootrestheight.RefertoAdjustingFootrestHeightonpage 35.
Removing
1. Pushthefootrestreleaseleverinwardwhilerotatingthefrontriggingoutward.
2. Liftthefootrestassemblyoutofthemountingpinofthewheelchairframe.
3. RepeatSTEPS1‐2foroppositeside,ifnecessary.
