SECTION 9—ANTI-TIPPERS

 WARNING

After any adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching

hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.

Installing/Adjusting Anti-Tippers

NOTE:Forthisprocedure,refertoFIGURE9.1.

NOTE:A1‐½to2‐inchclearancebetweenthebottomoftheanti‐tipperwheelsandthefloor

MUSTbemaintainedatalltimes.

NOTE:Ifanyadjustments/replacementoftherearwheelshavebeenmade,theanti‐tippersmust

beadjustedtomaintainthe1‐½to2‐inchclearance.Ifthisadjustmentcannotbemadewiththe

anti‐tipperscurrentlyinstalled,adifferentmodelmayberequired.Consultaqualifiedtechnician

forassistance.

Installing

1. Removetheanti‐tippersfromtheaccessorycarton.

 WARNING

Anti-tippers MUST be fully engaged and spring buttons fully protruding out of

adjustment holes.

2. Pressthereleasebuttonsinandinstalltheanti‐tippers intotheanti‐tippermoun ting

brackets.

NOTE:Ensurethewheelsar efacingdownandthelockingbuttonslockinplace.

3. Adjusttheanti‐tippers.RefertoAdjustingonpage 65.
