RFID Overview
Besides being able to scan 1D and 2D barcodes, the HS-1RL can also read RFID tags, using LF
RFID technology at 125 kHz.
RFID Mode On/Off
It’s possible to enable or disable the RFID functionality in the HS-1RL.
Scan one of the codes below to enable or disable RFID reading.
Default = Enabled.

RFID Reading
When presenting a RFID tag to the HS-1RL, depending on the settings for PRERENA, it can
automatically present the data in the following format: [Prefix] [Tag UID]
RFID Tag Type
The HS-1RL can read a wide variety of Low Frequency tag/transponder types. You can enable
all the various tag types that are present in your usage environment. Note that a higher number
of enabled tag types increases the time it takes to read the RFID tag. The following list of
supported tag/transponder types can be enabled for read operation:
