12.8.3 IP address based on the address switch
position
In all other address switch positions, the IP address is taken out of the configuration
memory; the least significant byte is substituted by the position of the address
switches.
The IP address of a -JC24X is made up according to the following pattern:

• The first three bytes (e.g. 192.168.1) are taken out of the configuration memory.
• The higher-order nibble of the fourth byte is set by means of the address switch
"High" (value range: 0 through 15).
• The low-order nibble of the fourth byte is set by means of the address switch
"Low" (value range: 0 through 15).

Do not change the version number contained in register 10131.
