Ø Secure the potentiometer with the nut.
Ø Mount the plastic wheel again checking the correct loop of the return cord.
Ø
Test SAPE assembly by pulling on the SAPE arm to it’s full out position several times.
Ø With the SAPE arm in the HOME position select service code C80.
Ø Hold the SAPE wheel firmly, using a flat blade screwdriver adjust the potentiometer referring to the paragraph of
C code C80, C81, C122, C82.
4.24 CHECK AND REPLACEMENT OF DIAMETER POTENTIOMETER
" : Medium and big philip screwdriver, 13 and 14mm wrenches, 3mm allen key.

i : Defective potentiometer may cause the following malfunctions:
1. Balancer show E92 turning it on.
2. Incorrect rim data entry.
3. Balancer shows error codes 001041, 001042 after turning on.
4. Balancer shows weight chasing
TO CHECK THE POTENTIOMER
Ø Check with service code C75, C80 and C92
TO REPLACE THE POTENTIOMETER
Ø Disconnect the power from the rear of the machine.
Ø Remove the Display panel, when available.
Ø Remove the weight tray.
Ø Disconnect the 2D SAPE harness from X6 connector of the Integrated Display.
Ø Remove the 10mm nut holding the SAPE wheel to the mounting bracket and slide the cog wheel off of the
potetiometer shaft.
Ø Remove the conical bushing.
