4.19 REPLACEMENT OF SHAFT BRAKE BAND
" : Medium and big philip screwdriver, 5mm allen key, 10 and 13mm wrenches.

i : Defective mechanical brake cable may cause the following malfunctions:
1. Balancer does not hold the wheel in position.
2. The brake pads touch the motor pulley during the balancing cycle.
3. The Balancer shows E22 or E24
Ø Disconnect power supply from the machine.
Ø Remove weight tray.
Ø Using 10mm wrench remove the two nuts.
Ø With 13mm wrench remove the brake bands from the support.
Ø Remove the screws and the spring to get the brake bands dismounted.
Ø Apply a small amount of white lithium grease between the shaft and band before installing.
Ø Using a 6.5”x15” wheel wheel tighten bands to where the tire and wheel assembly will stop after 1 1/2 to 2
revolutions after the brake kicks in.
