Ø After adjusting and locking the mechanical end stroke that set the wheel guard inclination, proceed with cam
adjustment as follows.
Ø The cam should be adjusted to activate the switch within a range of 1 ° to 4 °, considering the wheel guard in fully
closed position.
Ø The cam setscrew must be tightened with a toque wrench at 4Nm / 33 lbs-in.
Ø Calibrate the sonar with C82
4.28 WHEEL GARD ADJUSTMENT
" : Medium and big philip screwdriver, 5, 13mm wrenches, 6mm allen key

i : Defective hood switch may cause the following malfunctions:
1. Lowering the wheel guard the wheel does not start.
2. Machine shows H33
3. Machine shows H34
4. Machine take wrong rim data.
Ø Disconnect the power supply from the back of the machine.
Ø Remove the weight tray.
Ø Remove the cover from wheel guard holder.
Ø To adjust the the wheel guard inclination, lower completely the wheel guard
and measure the inclination with an electronic inclinometer.
The inclination must be 15° +/- 1°
Ø If necessary correct the inclination adjusting the bumper inside of the wheel
guard pipe assembly.
