5.3 IN THE FIELD REPROGRAMMING OF BALANCER
After software down loading or LED display panel replacement, perform service codes in the following order: after the
selection, the machine will make three audible beeps followed by the automatic turning off and on again.
• C43 - Reset Counters
• C47 - Select machine model: after the selection, the machine will make three audible beeps followed by the
automatic turning off and on again.
• C85 - Copy content of serial EEPROM (EEP) from micro-controller EEP to incremental encoder EEP.
• C86 - Copy content of serial EEPROM (EEP) from incremental encoder EEP to micro-controller EEP.
• C120 - Enable/disable laser pointer.
5.4 IN THE FIELD CALIBRATION OF THE BALANCER
• C80 - Calibration of inner SAPE gauge arm
• C81 - Measurement of ! ange to zero plane distance
• C82 - Sonar sensor calibration
• C83 - Basic calibration of vibratory system with wheel
• C84 - Measurement of residual main shaft unbalance
• C88 - Adjustment of 12h position
• C115 Basic calibration of vibratory system with calibration rotor
• C122 - Laser pointer calibration
5.5 DIAGNOSTIC SERVICE STEPS
In case of an error it is recommended to perform some service code to check the system. The following are some
common service codes for this job.
CHECK THE STORED ERROR CODES
• C28 - Display the last 10 error codes.
MAIN SHAFT OPTOENCODER
• C54 - Some more testing for the incremental encoder of the main shaft.
• C74 - Check the incremental encoder of the main shaft
DRIVE PULLEY OPTOENCODER
• C98 - Display of angular position of power clamp pulley, incremental encoder test.
2D SAPE / GEODATA
• C80 - Check Voltages for left SAPE
ATTENTION! This is a calibration function; interrupt this function after the test in STEP 1 with the OK key
• C81 - Check Voltages for right SAPE
• ATTENTION! This is a calibration function; interrupt this function after the test in STEP 1 with the OK key.
• C92 - Test of off-set and diameter potentiometers.
POWER SUPPLIES STAUS
• C55 - Check lines Voltage
• C75 - Check Voltages of SAPE potentiometers (AD8, AD9, AD10) or perform STEP 1 of C80 and C82
• C110 - Check VCC Voltage
