ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS WIR ING
The ParaFlow™ micro panel control center is designed
to function as an integral component of the YORK
ParaFlow™ absorption chiller/heater. All of the data
con tained in the micro panel control center is shared
with the YORK direct digital controllers via the single
twist ed-pair YorkTalk Bus. All temperatures, pres-
sures, safety alarms and cycling conditions are avail-
able to the direct digital controllers for integrated plant
control, data log ging, and local and remote display of
operator in for ma tion. The YorkTalk Bus communica-
tion interface allows the direct digital controllers to is-
sue commands to the micro panel control center to set
temperature setpoints and start or stop the unit.
The micro panel control center also provides a lim-
ited interface to other Energy Management Systems
(EMS). The micro panel control center includes unit
status con tacts, provisions for remote temperature
setpoint reset and starting and stopping of the unit.
All field control wiring modifications are to be fur-
nished and installed by others. To learn more about
what safety devices and chiller controls can be wired
remotely, refer to the mi cro panel wir ing di a gram,
YORK Form 155.17-PA1, YORK Form 155.17-W1
(for gas/oil-fired units), or YORK Form 155.19-W1
(for steam-fired units).
