Securing the truck for transport
WARNING!
Accidental movement during transport
Improper fastening of the truck and mast during transport can result in serious acci-
dents.
XLoading must be carried out by specially trained staff in accordance with recom-
mendations contained in Guidelines VDI 2700 and VDI 2703 In each case correct
measurements must be made and appropriate safety measures adopted.
XThe truck must be securely fastened when transported on a lorry or a trailer.
XThe lorry / trailer must have fastening rings.
XUse wedges to prevent the truck from moving.
XUse only tension belts or tie-down straps or with sufficient strength.
Requirements
Load handler lowered
Key switch set to OFF
Key removed, for code lock the O key pressed
Emergency Disconnect pressed
Battery disconnected
Tools and Material Required
Tension belts/tie down straps
Procedure
Park the truck securely on a lorry or trail-
er.
Attach at least four tension belts (4,5) to
the mast, 2 on the left and 2 on the right.
The truck can now be transported.
