1. Close the user's shut-off valve between the
machine and the air network.
2. Open the condensate drain slowly and re‐
lease pressure completely.
3. Check that the air receiver pressure gauge
reads 0 bar.
1. Close the user's shut-off valve between the
machine and the air network.
2. Turn the knurled screw on the relief valve
counter-clockwise until air blows off and hold
in this position until all air is exhausted. Then
turn the knurled knob back to its original po‐
sition.
Do not turn the knurled knob too far.
3. Check that the air receiver pressure gauge
reads 0 bar.
The pressure gauge does not read 0 bar after venting?
The user's shut-off valve is still open or the receiver relief valve is defective.
➤ Close the shut-off valve or have an authorised KAESER Service technician check the pres‐
sure relief valve.
➤ If manual venting does not bring the oil separator tank pressure gauge to zero: Contact the
authorised KAESER Service.
10.14 Maintaining the check valve
The check valve is installed in the air receiver inlet port. It prevents the compressed air from flowing
back from the air receiver to the compressor block.

Precondition The supply disconnecting device is switched off,
the device is locked off,
the absence of voltage has been verified.
The machine is completely depressurised (pressure gauge reads 0 bar).
The machine has cooled down.
The user's shut-off valve between the machine and the air network is closed.
