9.5 Pt500 short direct sensor set
The Pt500 short direct sensor has been constructed according to the European heat meter standard EN 1434-2.
The sensor has been designed for direct mounting in the measuring medium, i.e. without sensor pocket, whereby
a very fast response to temperature changes from e.g. domestic water exchangers is obtained.
The sensor is based on two-wire silicone cable. The sensor pipe is made of stainless stell and has a diameter of 4
mm at the point where the sensor element is placed. Furthermore, it can be immediately mounted in many flow
sensor types which reduces the installation costs.

Furthermore, the short direct sensor can be
mounted by means of a R½ or R¾ for M10
nipple in a standard 90° tee.
In order to obtain the best possible serviceability
during meter replacement the short direct sensor
can be placed in a ball valve with sensor socket.
Ball valves with sensor socket are available in G½,
G¾ and G1.
