5.2.4 Communication with DriveManager 5

The user software DriveManager5 must be installed on a PC. The PC can be
connected to the drive controller via USB or Ethernet (TCP/IP).
You will nd a detailed description of DriveManager5 in the online help for
DriveManager5.
NOTE:
The communication link between PC and drive controller can only be
established after the drive controller has completed its initialisation. "88" or "0"
is no longer indicated on the display D1/D2.
NOTE:
The supply unit parameters are pre-congured in the factory and matched
to the mains connection set. The factory parameter conguration is only
allowed to be changed by trained specialist personnel. The parameter
changes described in the following adapt the supply unit to the parameters
of the supply system and to the number and type of the DC axis controllers
connected to the DC terminals X11.
NOTE:
The rmware in the supply unit must be compatible with DriveManager5. If the
establishment of the communication fails, the compatibility must be checked.
5.2.3 Switching on control voltage (24VDC)

To initialise the supply unit and to congure the parameters, it is necessary initially
to apply only the 24VDC control supply to X9 or X10. Pay attention to correct
polarity.
After switching on successfully, you can read two states on the 7-segment display.
