General features
Equalizer Control
1
Select the source to adjust
Press the [SRC] button.
Refer to <Selecting the Source> (page 8).
2 Enter Equalizer Control mode
Using the Control knob, select "DSP" > "SND
CONT" > "EQ".
For the operation method, refer to <Function
Control mode> (page 11).
3 Select the Equalizer Control item to adjust
Turn the Control knob or push it towards left
or right.

"FRONT" Equalizer Front Setting
"REAR" Equalizer Rear Setting
4 Enter the Equalizer Control item
Press the Control knob.
5 Adjust the Equalizer control item
System Q Setting
Turn the Control knob or push it towards left
or right.
Each time you push the knob, the setting alternates
between the settings shown in the table below.

"User"/ "Natural"/ "Rock"/ "Pops"/
"Easy"/ "Top40"/ "Jazz"
User/ Natural/ Rock/ Pops/ Easy/
Top 40/ Jazz
• User memory:
The values set on the <Equalizer Front Setting/ Equalizer
Rear Setting>.
To get the best sound, first go through <Sound
Management system> (page 12).
Equalizer Front Setting/
Equalizer Rear Setting
1 Select a frequency band you wish to adjust.
Turn the Control knob or push it towards left
or right.
Each time you push the knob, the band alternates
between "1" (Band 1) and "4" (Band 4).
2 Select the items to adjust for Equalizer.
Push the Control knob towards up or down.
Each time you push the knob, the item to be
adjusted alternates between the items shown in
the table below.
3 Adjust the Equalizer.
Turn the Control knob or push it towards left
or right.
Each time you push the knob, the setting
alternates between the settings shown in the
table below.

band is shown below.

Band2 250/ 315/ 400/ 500/ 630/ 800/ 1k Hz
Band3 1.25/ 1.6/ 2/ 2.5/ 3.15/ 4 kHz
Band4 5/ 6.3/ 8/ 10/ 12.5/ 16 kHz
• "Effect"
Amplifies the range lower than the center frequency as
well as the low center frequency.
4 Exit frequency band.
Press the Control knob.
6 Exit Equalizer Control mode
Press the [FNC] button.
WOW HD Control
1 Select the source to adjust
Press the [SRC] button.
Refer to <Selecting the Source> (page 8).
2 Enter WOW HD Control mode
Using the Control knob, select "DSP" > "SND
CONT" > "WOW HD".
For the operation method, refer to <Function
Control mode> (page 11).
