Driving your vehicle Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
Collision-Avoidance Assist (whilst
driving)
䳜 To warn the driver of a collision,
the warning light on the side view
mirror (outside mirror) will blink
and a warning message will
appear on the cluster.
䳜 The function will operate when
your vehicle speed is between
60~200 km/h (40~120 mph) and
both lane markings of the driving
lane are detected.
䳜 Emergency braking will be
assisted to help prevent collision
with the vehicle in the blind spot
area.
䳜 Collision-Avoidance Assist will be
cancelled under the following cir
-
cumstances:
- Your vehicle enters the next
lane by a certain distance
-Your vehicle is away from the
collision risk
- The steering wheel is sharply
steered
- The brake pedal is depressed
- Forward Collision-Avoidance
Assist is operating
䳜 After function operation or
changing lane, you must drive to
the centre of the lane. The func
-
tion will not operate if the vehicle
is not driven in the centre of the
lane.
Collision-Avoidance Assist (whilst
departing)
䳜 To warn the driver of a collision,
the warning light on the side view
mirror (outside mirror) will blink
and a warning message will
appear on the cluster.
䳜 The function will operate when
your vehicle speed is below 3 km/h
(2 mph) and the speed of the vehi
-
cle in the blind spot area is above 5
km/h (3 mph).
䳜 Emergency braking will be
assisted to help prevent collision
with the vehicle in the blind spot
area.
