11. CONTROL MODULES OF EH-EVO-T ELECTRIC
HEATERS
To connect the electrical heater it is necessary to use
adedicated EH M EVO-T 36kW/3 power/control module
for AHU size 4100 and 1200 or the EH M EVO-T 54kW/3
module for the AHU size 9200.

The SSR solid-state relays and the HE module are used
to provide stepless control of the electrical heater.
The module enables switching on the subsequent heat-
er stages depending on the 0÷10V control signal from
the EVO-T AHU’s controller. One of the modules operates
in a stepless way, while all the others are the switch on/
o type. Such solution enables very precise control of
high power heaters.
Due to the lack of connectors of mechanical elements
it is possible to use a signicant number of switches
(6 switch on/o cycles per minute) without fear of wear-
ing the connectors. The heating system inertia enables
just a slight variation of the air supply temperature.
The system enables feeding the TK connector signal as
well as the signal of the air supply fan pressure gauge.
Lack of the fan compression or the heaters overheating
automatically switch o the heater. A contactor consti
-
tutes an additional protection in the event of damaging
the SSR relays. The start-up and 0÷10V signals are fed by
the EVO-T AHU controller.
11.1 HE electric heater control module
Fig 22 The module controlling the electric heater
The CHE-2 controller controls the other modules for
which the 0-10V type signal is a correct control singal at
the Aout1 output of the ELP11R32 controller.
The HE module can be congured individually depend
-
ing on the need for power of the tted electric heater.
If it is not necessary to use full power of all heating stag-
es it is possible to switch o any number of the heater
sets or partially limit the stage controlled with the use
of solid-state relays.
The number of activated stages of the heater is set
by the dip-switch type switch installed on the PCB in
accordance with the following conguration:
