Fault Possible causes and rectification
The suction force of the Upright
Vacuum Cleaner is declining.
The 3in1 Premium Filter Bag is probably full.
Replace the 3in1 Premium Filter Bag.
The suction channel of the Upright Vacuum Cleaner or
that of another connected device is blocked.
Clean the suction channel of the Upright Vacuum
Cleaner and/or that of the connected device.
Check whether the filter fill level indicator on your
Upright Vacuum Cleaner lights up yellow.
If so, replace the 3in1 Premium Filter Bag.
The motor protection filter is extremely dirty.
Clean or replace the motor protection filter (see
chapter “4.2.2 Cleaning and/or replacing the Kobold
VK200 motor protection filter” on page 89).
The Upright Vacuum Cleaner sets
itself to a different power perfor-
mance level and gets louder.
After prolonged use, with high ambient temperature
or when the 3in1 Premium Filter Bag is full or blocked,
the Upright Vacuum Cleaner will set itself to a differ-
ent power performance level as a result of overheating
so that the suction performance can no
longer be regulated. In this case the valve will open
automatically allowing air to flow directly into the in-
side of the motor.
Check the suction channel and the connected
accessory heads.
Remove any blockages and replace the 3in1 Premium
Filter Bag if necessary.
Let the motor cool down.
This effect can also be the result of switching from
hard floors to carpeting or generally when using power
performance level auto (automatic suction power).
