INSERTING THE MOTOR PROTECTION FILTER
1. Position the motor protection filter
behind
the rib
.
2. Swing the filter up until it engages in the
retainer
.
3. Close the filter unit.
NOTE
Risk of damage from improper use!
• Use the Upright Vacuum Cleaner only with the
motor protection filter inserted.
4.2.3 REMOVING THE POWER CORD FROM
THE KOBOLD VK200 UPRIGHT VACUUM
CLEANER
The power cord is designed to remain permanently
connected to the device once it has been installed.
However, you can remove the power cord if it is
damaged and needs to be replaced.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
• Disconnect the plug from the mains socket
before removing the power cord.
1. Release the plug from the Upright Vacuum
Cleaner.
You can release the plug by pushing it up in the
cable channel using the yellow collar
sup-
plied. The tool is included with the replacement
power cord.
2. Thread the plug through the cable channel
up
and out of the handle grip
.
3. Dispose of the damaged power cord and insert a
new, original Vorwerk power cord as described in
the chapter “2.2 Mains connection” on page 19.
