2.6 ADJUSTING THE HANDLE
HEIGHT
CAUTION
Danger of damaging electrical parts!
• Make sure that the power cord is able to move
freely in the cable channel when adjusting the
handle.
• Do not hold the power cord whilst adjusting the
handle.
• Ensure that the power cord does not get
jammed inside the cable channel of the handle.
1. Unfold the clamping lever
as far as it will go
and hold it.
2. Set the adjustable handle
to the desired
height.
3. Close the clamping lever
to lock the adjusta-
ble handle
.
4. Push or pull slightly on the adjustable handle
until you hear a click.
Now the adjustable handle is firmly locked and
ready for use.
5. To store the Upright Vacuum Cleaner (or to use it
for cleaning higher than floor level), set the ad-
justable handle to the lowest position.
