5.3 KOBOLD VF200 CARPET FRESHENER
Fault Possible causes and rectification
The cleaning performance of the
Carpet Freshener is significantly re-
duced.
There may be cleaning residue from a previous carpet
cleaning in the device, preventing proper functioning
of the Carpet Freshener.
• Clean the dosage hopper and brush as described in
the chapter “3.2.7 Cleaning the Kobold VF200
Carpet Freshener after use” on page 45.
The dosage of Kobosan Active may not have been suf-
ficient, or the properties of your carpet make it unsuit-
able for cleaning with the Carpet Freshener.
• Check whether your carpet can be cleaned with the
Carpet Freshener.
• Check whether the dosage of Kobosan Active was
sufficient as specified in the chapter “3.2.1 Carpet
cleaning with the Kobold VF200 Carpet Freshener”
on page 40.
After brush cleaning, the device
does not work any more.
The Carpet Freshener is not properly connected to the
Upright Vacuum Cleaner.
• Check if the plug connection between the Carpet
Freshener and the Upright Vacuum Cleaner is cor-
rectly engaged
.
The foot switch was not adequately pressed
to start
dosage of the Kobosan Active.
• Operate Kobosan Active dosage with the foot switch
.
