Why is my Kobold Automatic Electric Brush so noisy?
    • K
      Karen NelsonDec 1, 2025
The Automatic Electric Brush might be too loud for several reasons: * The roller brush is not mounted on the TORX® cam of the gear mechanism. Check if the roller brush is correctly inserted and mount it on the TORX® cam of the gear mechanism if necessary. * The small bearing ball of the cub and ball bearing is missing. Make sure that the bearing ball is properly inserted. * The green cap of the cup and ball bearing is not properly installed. Check if the green cap is properly installed. If not then position the green cap correctly. * The floor plate is not properly engaged. Make sure that both locks (left and right) engage audibly with a click during installation. * Non-original Kobold accessories were used, which can lead to bearing or motor damage. What to do if my Kobold VK200 doesn’t run and the LEDs flash red?
    • C
      Carla BurgessAug 25, 2025
If your Kobold Vacuum Cleaner doesn’t run and the LEDs flash red, the issue could be due to a few reasons: * During the initial setup, the telescopic handle may not have been mounted correctly, preventing an electrical connection. Pull out the mains plug, extend the handle again until it locks into place. * The device may have overheated. Pull out the mains plug, let the device cool down, and try again.

Why does my Kobold VK200 smell bad?
    • J
      Jackie ClarkAug 26, 2025
An unpleasant odor from your Kobold Upright Vacuum Cleaner could mean the 3in1 Premium Filterbag FP200 has lost its ability to retain odors, even if it's not full. Exchange the 3in1 Premium Filterbag and insert a new Dovina fragrance chip. Also, thoroughly clean the suction channel of the Upright Vacuum Cleaner and/or the connected device, as well as the motor protection filter.

Why does my Kobold Automatic Electric Brush keep turning off and flashing red?
    • K
      Karen HenryAug 27, 2025
If the Automatic Electric Brush switches itself off and the operating display flashes red, it could be because: * A vacuumed object is blocking the brush. Switch the device off, unplug it, and remove the object. * Threads are blocking the brush.

Why does my Kobold VK200 Vacuum Cleaner change power levels and get louder on its own?
    • L
      Larry MooneyAug 27, 2025
Your Kobold Upright Vacuum Cleaner might change power performance levels and get louder due to overheating. This can happen after prolonged use, in high ambient temperatures, or if the 3in1 Premium Filterbag is full or blocked. Check the suction channel and connected accessory heads for blockages, and replace the 3in1 Premium Filterbag if needed. Allow the motor to cool down. This can also be the result of switching from hard floors to carpeting or when using power performance level auto (automatic suction power).

Why is my Kobold DuoClean making strange noises?
    • A
      Amanda SmithSep 16, 2025
If the DuoClean is making noises, it is possible that the device has not been closed correctly or that the cloth holder has not been mounted correctly. Check if the side cover is present and properly closed. If not, reinsert and close the side cover. Check the cloth holder is correctly inserted and the green latch is engaged.

Why can't I move the slider on my Kobold Automatic Electric Brush?
    • A
      Ashlee AllenSep 14, 2025
If the slider for switching between coarse materials and fine dust on the underside of the Automatic Electric Brush cannot be moved, the Automatic Electric Brush is in hard floor mode. Make sure that the Automatic Electric Brush was properly switched off. Connect the Automatic Electric Brush with the Upright Vacuum Cleaner and in the standby position (joint locked) switch them on and back off.

Why is the Kobold Carpet Freshener not cleaning well?
    • A
      Angela PowellSep 4, 2025
Reduced cleaning performance of the Carpet Freshener may be because: * There may be cleaning residue from a previous carpet cleaning in the device, preventing proper functioning of the Carpet Freshener. Clean the dosage container and brush. * The dosage of Kobosan active may not have been sufficient, or the properties of your carpet make it unsuitable for cleaning with the Carpet Freshener. Check whether your carpet can be cleaned with the Carpet Freshener. Check whether the dosage of Kobosan active was sufficient.
