Why doesn't my Kobold Carpet Freshener work after cleaning the brush?

  If the device does not work any more after brush cleaning: * The Carpet Freshener is not properly connected to the Upright Vacuum Cleaner. Check if the plug connection between the Carpet Freshener and the Upright Vacuum Cleaner is correctly engaged. * The foot switch was not adequately pressed to start dosage of the Kobosan active. Activate Kobosan active dosage with the foot switch.

Why does the STOP light flash red when I turn on my Kobold VK200?

  When the Upright Vacuum Cleaner is switched on, if the operating display “STOP” flashes red, the secondary air flap was activated before switching the Upright Vacuum Cleaner on. Switch the Upright Vacuum Cleaner off and then switch it back on.

Why is the suction power of my Kobold Vacuum Cleaner decreasing?

  A decline in the suction force of your Kobold Upright Vacuum Cleaner may be due to several reasons: * The filterbag might be full, so you should exchange the 3in1 Premium Filterbag. * The suction channel of the Upright Vacuum Cleaner or a connected device could be blocked. Clean the suction channel. * The motor protection filter may be extremely dirty. Clean or exchange the motor protection filter.

  If the DuoClean is causing streaks or marks on the floor, it's possible that the supporting feet are touching the floor. In this case, remove the supporting feet.

What to do if the filter cover of my Kobold VK200 comes off?

  If the filter cover has become detached from the device, it is possible you have bumped against the opened cover. Reinsert the cover: Set the filter cover onto the hinges of the device. Push the filter cover of the filter unit shut until the cover latch engages. If this is not possible, or if force would be required, check if the filterbag is correctly inserted.

  Reduced cleaning performance of the Carpet Freshener may be because: * There may be cleaning residue from a previous carpet cleaning in the device, preventing proper functioning of the Carpet Freshener. Clean the dosage container and brush. * The dosage of Kobosan active may not have been sufficient, or the properties of your carpet make it unsuitable for cleaning with the Carpet Freshener. Check whether your carpet can be cleaned with the Carpet Freshener. Check whether the dosage of Kobosan active was sufficient.

Why aren't the LED lights turning on after I put in a new filterbag in my Kobold Vacuum Cleaner?

  If, after inserting a new, banded Premium Filterbag and switching on the device, all LED rows do not light up green, the bands of the filter bag may not have been severed. Open the filter cover and check whether the bands have been cut by the closure of the filter cover. If not, cut the bands by hand and close the cover again.

Why is the Kobold Automatic Electric Brush difficult to push?

  If the Automatic Electric Brush is hard to push, it could be because: * You might have set the power performance level too high. Use the main switch on the handle of the Upright Vacuum Cleaner to set the device to a lower power performance level or use power performance level auto in general. * The Automatic Electric Brush may be in manual operating mode. Switch the Upright Vacuum Cleaner off and back on again.

Why is my Kobold DuoClean swiveling too much?

  If the Kobold DuoClean is swiveling excessively, it could be due to: * The cleaning cloth is not fixed properly. Check whether the cleaning cloth is straight and firmly fixed on the cloth holder. * The cloth holder is not inserted correctly. Check whether the cloth holder has been inserted and latched into the DuoClean correctly. * Non-original cleaning cloths were used. Only use original Kobold cleaning cloths.

Why does my Kobold DuoClean shut off, the STOP light flashes red, and the vacuum turns off?

  If the DuoClean switches off, the STOP light flashes red, and the Upright Vacuum Cleaner turns off simultaneously, it indicates that moisture has been sucked in. Switch off the Upright Vacuum Cleaner. After the device has dried completely, switch on the Upright Vacuum Cleaner and close the secondary air flap of the DuoClean. It is possible that this step will need to be repeated several times.
