22.8Cleaning the oil screens
Warning
Danger of scalding Engine oil and gear oil get very hot when the motorcycle is ridden.
– Wear appropriate protective clothing and safety gloves. In case of burns, rinse immediately with lukewarm water.
Warning
Environmental hazard Hazardous substances cause environmental damage.
– Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.
– Place a suitable container under the engine.

– Remove screw plug  with oil screen  and the O-rings.

– Remove screw plug  with oil screen  and the O-rings.
– Completely drain the remaining engine oil.
– Thoroughly clean the parts and sealing area.

– Position oil screen  with the O-rings.
– Mount and tighten screw plug  with the O-ring.
