Weight of chain wear measurement 15 kg (33 lb.)
Measure distance of 18 chain links in the lower chain section.
Info
Chain wear is not always even, so you should repeat this measurement at
different chain positions.

» If distance is greater than the specified measurement:
Replace the chain.
Info
When the chain is replaced, the rear sprocket and engine sprocket
should also be changed.
New chains wear out faster on old, worn sprockets.
For safety reasons, the chain has no chain joint.

» If the chain sliding guard is worn:
Replace the chain sliding guard.
Check that the chain sliding guard is firmly seated.
» If the chain sliding guard is loose:
Tighten the chain sliding guard.
