4. Check the setting again.
5. Put the linear unit into operation and slowly move the carriage through the
motion range to be monitored, checking the position of the actuating lever
and the switching function of the position switches.
6. Check the height offset (>>> Fig. 14-6) between the position switch and
cam.

Warning!
Before performing the next step, it must be ensured that it is not possible for
anyone to be injured within the range of the slowly moving carriage. The car-
riage may only be moved at jog speed, with all applicable safety rules and
regulations being observed.
Warning!
The actuating angle between the cam and the actuating lever of the position
switch must be at least 50° over the entire length of the cam.
Warning!
The height offset must not exceed ± 2 mm. Otherwise there is a risk of incor-
rect actuation.
