Digital Signature to Email

Add a digital signature to the email, using the electronic certificate.
By adding a digital signature to an email, you can confirm the identity of the destination and detect tampering
during transmission.

To use this function, configure the certificate, protocol and email function in Embedded Web Server RX.

Configuring S/MIME in Embedded Web Server RX
When using the Email Encrypted TX and Digital Signature to Email functions, make the following settings in
Embedded Web Server RX.

Access to Embedded Web Server RX.

Register the device certificate which is used for S/MIME.
1 From the [Security Settings] menu, click [Certificates].
2 Click [Settings] of "Device Certificate" (1 to 5) to create or import the device certificate.

3 Click [Restart/Reset] > [Restart entire device] to restart the device.

Configure the protocol settings
1 From the [Network Settings] menu, click [Protocols].
2 Set [SMTP (E-mail TX)] and [S/MIME] of "Send Protocol" to [On].
3 Click [Submit].

Configure the E-mail function.
1 From the [Functions] menu, click [E-mail].
2 Configure the settings in "S/MIME Settings" as necessary.
