Assigning Functions to Function Keys
Function keys are keys to which various functions and applications, including copy and scan, can be assigned.
Frequently used functions and applications can be assigned and the screen can easily be displayed.
For this machine, the following functions are pre-assigned; however, alternative functions can be registered by
re-assigning these functions. The labels included with this machine can be used to change the notation of the
operation panel.
[Function Key 1]: Copy
[Function Key 2]: Send
[Function Key 3]: ID card copy (If using a machine that is compatible with fax, the fax function will be assigned)

Display the screen.
[System Menu/Counter] key > [DeviceSettings] > [Function Key Assignment]
NOTE
If the user authentication screen appears, log in with a user who has the privilege to configure this setting.
If you do not know your login user name or password, please contact your administrator.

Configure the settings.
1 Select the function key to be set.
2 Select the function to be assigned.
[None]
No function has been assigned.
[Copy]
Displays the Copy screen.
