Reception Method
The methods for receiving faxes on the machine are shown below.
When using this machine as a FAX-dedicated machine that does not receive telephone calls, set the machine to
automatic reception. No special operation is required when receiving faxes.
• Automatic Reception
• FAX/TEL Auto Switch Reception (9-2)
• FAX/Answering Machine Auto Switch Reception (9-4)
• Manual Reception (4-4)
• Auto (DRD) (Available for some countries.)(Page 9-9)
Set the Reception Method

Display the screen.
[System Menu/Counter] key > [FAX] > [Reception] > [Reception Mode]

Select the reception method.
Select the reception method > [OK]
For Automatic Reception, select [Auto (Normal)].
