Remove five metric cap screws securing
upper and lower transmission case. Insert
screwdriver into four pry
slots
of the transmis-
sion assembly and pry up to seperate upper
case from lower case.

Remove input shaft from bearings. In-
spect for scoring, nicks or damaged teeth.
Remove metric
cap
screw securing
two
bear-
ings and washer from upper transmission case.
Inspect bearings for scoring, wear and free
rotation.
Remove reduction shaft assembly from
lower transmission
case.
Slide
two
bushings,

tooth gear,
16
tooth gear,
12
tooth gear, ring
gear and collar from reduction shaft.
Inspect for wear or damage.
