Loosen
two
screws holding carburetor
and air filter base to the cylinder and remove
shoulder bolt holding air filter base to shroud
assembly.
Holding carburetor remove air filter base and
screws.
NOTE:
Use care not to lose steel spacers
in
air filter base.
Hold carburetor, gasket and spacer plate
as
an assembly. Remove the choke and throttle
linkage rods, slowly rotating carburetor clock-
wise and lifting rods out with your fingers.
Oil Injection Models:
Remove oil line from spacer plate.
Plug oil line with drill
rod
to prevent air
entering line.
Discard old gaskets. New ones will be installed
during reassembly.
CARBURETOR DISASSEMBLY
Remove screw and gasket securing bowl
to carburetor body and remove carburetor bowl.
Discard washer,
a
new one will be installed
during reassembly.
