Remove bowl vent tube. Check vent for
dirt or foreign material.
If
vent tube is kinked, collapsed or torn
it
should
be replaced.
Clean carburetor body and all metal compo-
nents with a good commercial carburetor
cleaner that contains
NO
ALCOHOL, and blow
dry using compressed air.
Examine
all
parts for excessive wear or dam-
age, replace as required.
Examine all passages for obstructions and
clean using compressed air.
Check throttle shaft, choke shaft and discs for
wear and freedom of movement. These compo-
nents are not serviced and must be replaced
with a new carburetor body assembly.
CARBURETOR ASSEMBLY
When assembling carburetor, replace all wash-
ers and gaskets.
Install nozzle.
