Holding carburetor assembly, install oil
pump "out" line (if
so equipped) onto spacer
plate nozzle. Secure with clip. Insertthrottle and
choke linkage rods into position on carburetor.
Rotate assembly counterclockwise into posi-
tion and secure to cylinder.
Torque mounting screws to 65 in.-lbs.
(5 ft.-lbs.) (7 N.M)
Route and attach fuel line to carburetor. Secure
with clamp.
(AIR FILTER BASE
REMOVED FOR CLARITY)
Install pre-filter into air filter cover. Install
paper air filter into air filter base. Be sure the
paper air filter is fully seated in the filter base
and doesn't pucker allowing direct passage of
air and dirt into engine.
Hook cover tabs into
slots on air filter base. Rotate into position and
tighten
two mounting screws securely.
Check
all mounting hardware for tightness and
check for any fuel
or oil leakage.
